Refreshing Collagen Popsicle Recipes to Beat The Heat


Summer is the time of year when we do our best to enjoy the warm weather and extra sunshine. As long as the heat is with us, it's a good idea to enjoy some popsicles because that's where the fun begins.


Although we can enjoy many different types of popsicle recipes, adding collagen to them helps to support our natural collagen matrix 1. Citrus Collagen Popsicles



This Popsicle is perfect for the person with a sweet tooth and it has loads of vitamin C. The antioxidant properties of vitamin C support the growth and repair of your cells 3. Add some collagen and it is just what your body needs.


Ingredients:


  • ½ cup grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup water
  • 8 ounces vanilla yogurt
  • 1 scoop NATURELO Collagen Powder
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • Instructions:


    1. In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the grapefruit juice, orange juice, water, lemon juice and honey to a boil.


    2. Remove from heat and chill the mixture in the freezer until very cold, about 10 minutes.


    3. While mixture is chilling, combine vanilla yogurt and  NATURELO Collagen Powder.


    4. Fill ⅓ of your popsicle molds with the cold juice mixture and freeze for 30 minutes.


    5. Add the yogurt mixture and the rest of the cold juice mixture to your molds and freeze for an additional two hours.


    6. Take out and enjoy.

    Mocha Iced Coffee Popsicles



    If you enjoy your daily Starbucks but don't always want to spend an arm and a leg to enjoy one, try one of these frozen treats.


    Ingredients:


  • 1 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla powder or vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop NATURELO Collagen Powder
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • Instructions:


    1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.


    2. Pour into molds and freeze for four to six hours.


    3. Take out and enjoy.

    Raspberry Coconut Chia Popsicles



    The mixture of coconut and tart raspberries makes this Popsicle perfect. It's delicious and the Chia seeds add a powerful blend of fiber, antioxidants, calcium, iron and omega-3 fatty acids.


    Ingredients:


  • 1 ½ cup raspberries, fresh or thawed from frozen
  • ½ cup water
  • 15 ounces full fat coconut milk
  • 1 ½ tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 scoop NATURELO Collagen Powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • Instructions:


    1. Blend raspberries and water until smooth into a puree.


    2. Pour 2 tablespoons of the raspberry puree into your molds and freeze for 30 minutes.


    3. Whisk the coconut milk, chia seeds,  NATURELO Collagen Powder, and vanilla extract together in a bowl.


    4. Pour the coconut milk mixture over the frozen raspberry puree and freeze for 30 minutes.


    5. Pour the remaining raspberry puree into the molds and freeze for an additional two hours or until frozen.


    6. Take out and enjoy.

    Berry Blast Collagen Popsicles



    It's always nice to enjoy fruit in the summer but fruit popsicles take things to the next level.


    Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup organic coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop NATURELO Collagen Powder
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey

  • Instructions:


    1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.


    2. Pour into molds and freeze for four to six hours.


    3. Take out and enjoy.
