How big are the capsules?
We use Size 0 capsules, which are smaller than regular capsules. They are 0.85 inches long by 0.30 inches wide (21 x 7 millimeters). Most people find that they go down quite easily with a big gulp of water. However, if you have trouble swallowing, you can easily open the capsule and sprinkle the powder onto your food or drink. Mixing the powder with a thick liquid such as yogurt, applesauce, or a smoothie works best.
Is this supplement safe for long-term use?

Does this B-complex include all the B vitamins?
Yes. This supplement includes all 8 of the standard B vitamins: thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine (B6), biotin (B7), folate (B9), and cobalamin (B12). It also includes important co-nutrients such as choline, inositol, and PABA, which belong to the B-complex family, even though they are not technically vitamins.
Do you use methylated folate?
Yes. Methyl folate, or 5-MTHF, is the most bioavailable form of folate. This is especially important for those with the MTHFR gene mutation, who cannot convert folic acid into active folate. 5-MTHF doesn't need to be converted, so it is immediately active in the body.
Does this supplement include other active B vitamins?
Yes. We use methylcobalamin, the active form of B12, and P-5-P, the active form of vitamin B6. These forms are easier for the body to absorb and use, making them more effective.
What form of niacin does this supplement use?
We use niacinamide, which is the "non-flushing" form of niacin.
When should this supplement be taken?
We recommend taking your B-complex in the morning on an empty stomach. B vitamins are water-soluble, so they do not need food to be absorbed, and may be absorbed quicker without it. B vitamins also tend to increase energy, so it's better to take them earlier than later.
